Napa- Day 2

Safe to say I was feeling a little puny after my long night at the hospital (and Vince was pretty tired too!) so we decided to spend some time sightseeing. First stop: The Oxbow public market...

View of downtown on our way to the market

Found it!

Produce stand

Italian pastries

Pizzeria, Vino, Crepes

Arepas, spices, seafood

Butcher shop

Cheese shop

Oysters & seafood

Gold mine! I mean tacos ;) This turned out to be our favorite place in the city of Napa

Decisions, decisions... We decided to sample some goodies for breakfast :)
Time to check out the town... and to walk off some pastry!

Old church near downtown

Inside a super-cool pub called Billcos...

...complete with pool tables, darts, and other games

Ooh! Did someone say "gelato"??! Mmmm- good afternoon treat.
Note to self: Cafe Frati rocks (and they're Italian)

After several more hours of walking around, checking out cool little shops, and enjoying the weather, we decided C Casa at The Oxbow Market was a "must" for dinner...

Excellent fresh guacamole and chips

Wow

Wow again! Seriously... awesome. Have to be the best tacos I have ever had!

Haha- so I didn't exactly follow post food-poisoning instructions of eating light stuff... but with options like those who would? Although I was still feeling a little iggy, I was about 75% good to go. Doctor's (okay Vince's) orders? A little Game of Thrones time back at the hotel after dinner and an early bedtime- perfect!
