Portland Trip- Day 2

Our first day in Portland was certainly great, so Vince & I were excited to set out for some more exploring. Our first stop was a local farmer's market on Park Street; complete with beautiful produce, local cheeses, and delicious-smelling food…

Enchanting statue in the park

Our first glimpse

Vibrant local snap peas

Ooh- and fragrant berries; we bought some of these for later

OlyKraut

Local (and delicious) goat's milk cheese

Kinda wished we would have skipped breakfast and
had one of the these! They definitely smelled awesome

Stoic statue of Abraham Lincoln further down the street

…and Teddy Roosevelt; it was fun watching the kids on a field trip :)

Later that day, we decided to check out a bar that my
brother recommended; The Horse Brass Bar

Divey, full of character (and characters), tons of craft beer, and very cool

Time for dinner… at a place we were both excited to try- Pok Pok

Checking in

Loved the open air, exotic vibe, and Thai music

The spicy boar collar was amazing

These were the crowning glory- Ike's Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings
Wow… mind blowingly awesome. GREAT way to end Day 2!
