Portland Trip

After getting engaged in Maui, Vince and I started thinking about where we might like to live in the future, and Portland OR ended up at the top of our list. The activities and food scene really appealed to the both of us, but neither of us had spent much time there… SO, we decided to go check it out :)

We flew in on May 20th, got checked into our hotel, and headed out for some exploring…

is definitely a very picturesque city

Time for dinner- we decided to check out Piazza Italia, 

a fun, relaxed, and very authentic Italian restaurant in the Pearl District

The interior- complete with a lot of spoken Italian :)

Homemade pasta with rich pesto and perfectly sautéed shrimp

I am glad we walked everywhere… it was the perfect way to 

digest our dinners and enjoy more of the scenery
