No turning back now ;) I wasn't nervous though- just excited
Happy happy!
We didn't have much for breakfast, so we were hungry come lunchtime...
We checked our list of "places to eat" and were happy to see that this place
was on our way to the vacation rental. We were both jonesing for some fresh fish
Mixed poke bowl with bottled water, kimchee, and seaweed salad- delicious!
Perfect timing- we finished our lunch just as it quit raining. We
paid our bill and made our way over to Aloha Aku (the vacation rental).
Our correspondence with the owners had been wonderful to date,
so we were excited to meet them and check out the property.
The gated entrance
Stunning driveway
Charming canal next to the driveway
And the impressive first glimpse! The owners met us at the
door, gave us a tour of the property, and showed us to our room
Cute sign
The kitchen in our room- nice!
Our bedroom/bathroom area
Thoroughly pleased with our property find, Vince and I quickly unpacked and headed to the beach at the edge of the lawn. We were eager for our first walk on the beach!
I spied this on the way- a yarn bomb! Fun :)
Ahhh...
We spent about an hour walking the beach before Vince's parents arrived. We helped them unpack, gave them a tour of the property, and had fun catching up before heading off to dinner at Mama's Fish House... another great ending to another great day!
